Platz Radon Inspections uses Radalink Radon Telemonitors in order to offer the highest quality test in the shortest amount of time. Radalink Radon Telemonitors allow each radon inspection to be completed in a minimum of 48 hours, while also alerting you if the monitor has been tampered with in any way. To achieve this, each monitor takes hourly readings not only of radon concentration, but also relative humidity, barometric pressure, and temperature and also alerts the testing individual if the monitor has been tilted or unplugged at any time during the test.
MONITOR CALIBRATION
The accuracy and precision of each radon monitor is second to none. Every monitor is returned to Radalink each year for calibration in a controlled environment where their accuracy is measured against a known concentration of radon. Only after a monitor passes this test is it able to be used in the field again. Additionally, each monitor performs an internal check before each test and is checked against another monitor every ten tests to be sure that each reading is precise.
